QuadOrigin is privately held, based in Bengaluru, and intentionally small. We started it because good engineering is not actually scarce — but getting it applied to an ordinary business problem, by people who will still be there in month nine, turns out to be.
Why we exist
Most businesses do not need anything exotic built. They need a site that loads, a store that does not oversell, a process out of a spreadsheet and into software, and someone who will pick up the phone when it misbehaves. That is not a small ask — it is just an unglamorous one, which is why it is so often done badly.
The usual options are a cheap build that has to be redone in two years, or a large firm where the people who impressed you in the meeting are not the people who write the code. We wanted to offer the third thing: senior engineers, working directly with you, at a scale where that is still possible.
We are early in our own story. The company is new, the team is small, and we are growing it deliberately rather than quickly. What we can offer is the undivided attention of people who have done this before, and who will still be on your project when the interesting part is over.

Say the difficult thing early
If an estimate is drifting, an approach is wrong, or a request is a bad idea, you hear it in the stand-up it becomes apparent, not in the retrospective.

Design for the bad day
Anyone can build for the happy path. We design around the outage, the duplicate, the partial failure and the thing that arrives out of order, because those are the days a system is judged on.

Plain language
Architecture explained so that the person paying for it can follow the reasoning and push back on it. Jargon is usually a way of avoiding a question.

Leave the keys on the table
Your repository, your cloud account, your documentation. We want to be retained because the work is good, not because leaving is expensive.
The team
Small, senior and hiring
We are a compact team of engineers in Bengaluru, working with clients across India, Europe and North America. There is no delivery-manager layer between you and the people writing the code, and we intend to keep it that way as we grow. We are adding people carefully, on the basis that one engineer who understands the domain is worth several who are learning it on your project.
